Born on July 5, 1963, in Novi Sad. Completed medical school in Novi Sad. She began her specialization in pneumonology in September 1992, when she started working at the Institute for Lung Diseases in Sremska Kamenica, and passed her specialist exam in December 1996 with excellent marks. In 2000, she passed the subspecialty exam in oncology, and in 2001, she obtained the title of Master of Medical Sciences by defending her thesis "Simultaneous Application of Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy in the Treatment of Inoperable Bronchial Carcinoma." In 2008, she obtained the title of Primarius. In 2019, she defended her master's thesis on the topic of Business Control in the Function of Successful Management in Healthcare Institutions, thereby obtaining the title of Master of Business Economics – Healthcare Manager. From 1992 until December 2012, she worked at the Institute for Lung Diseases of Vojvodina, Sremska Kamenica, where she was involved in invasive pulmonary diagnostics and interventional bronchoscopy at the Clinic for Lung Oncology, specifically in the Department of Interventional Bronchoscopy, of which she was also the head. She is the author and co-author of several scientific papers in the fields of pulmonology and oncology, which have been presented and published both domestically and internationally. In 2010, she spent a month on a study internship in the field of interventional pulmonology at Thorax Klinik in Heidelberg with Prof. Heinrich Becker and Prof. Felix Herth. She is a member of domestic and international associations for endoscopy, lung diseases, and oncology. From 2012, for the next twelve years, she was the director of the Special Hospital for Lung Diseases "Dr. Vasa Savić" in Zrenjanin and simultaneously performed medical activities in the field of interventional pulmonology and the Oncology Outpatient Clinic. From 2014 to 2021, she was the president of the Pneumonology Section of DLV SLD. After returning from Zrenjanin, in 2023, she is back at the Institute for Lung Diseases of Vojvodina as the Head of the Department for Sarcoidosis, Clinic for Interstitial Lung Diseases and TB, and from January 2026, as the Head of the same clinic. In addition to organizational tasks at the clinic, she continues to perform interventional pulmonology procedures. She is the mother of an adult male child and speaks English.
